
For the fourth time in a row, Death is once again lurking in the corner refusing to let go those whom he has set his eyes on. This time, he will be coming to the big screen on the summer of 2009 with the release of 3-D “Final Destination 4″ on August 14, 2009.
With the particular schedule, the fourth supernatural thriller about teenagers who foresee their death will be the second 3-D movie released on the 2009 summer. It follows Alexander Aja’s horror thriller “Piranha 3-D” which will let out its hair-raising story on July 24, 2009. The flick also became the third 3-D horror film to be released in 2009. The first is Jaime King-starrer “My Bloody Valentine” that is set for January 23, 2009 theatrical screening.
Earlier, an on-set video of the fourth film has leaked out. It displays one of the key plots to the film which is car crash. The footage can be enjoyed below.
“Final Destination 4″ is a stand-alone film that is centered on Nick, a teenager who foresees a deathly race track accident. Knowing that he and his friends are going to be killed in the incident, he warns them about it which eventually saves all of them from the fatal mishap. But, soon he learns that Death won’t leave him and his friends alone until they are all dead. Coming back for this movie is “Final Destination 2″ director David R. Ellis and joining him in the cast ensemble are Nick Zano, Krista Allen, Andrew Fiscella, Shantel VanSanten and Bobby Campo among others.
