New Promo Introducing 7th Season Teams of 'The Biggest Loser: Couples 2'

“The Biggest Loser” will return with the Couples edition again on January 6 on NBC and a new promo for that has been released. Joining the seventh season are eleven new teams ranging from the oldest to the youngest to the heaviest that the show got so far.

In the theme of “firsts”, the new season introduces the contestants that will compete in losing their weight this season. Estella Hayes, 63, and her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Hayes, also 63, are the oldest couple to ever participate in the show. They will join forces as the white team. Meanwhile, the youngest contestant to join the show is 18-year-old Mike Morelli who is coupled with his 54-year-old father, Ronald. There’s also the heaviest woman in the show, Carla, at 379 lbs and the biggest player in the show’s history, Daniel (454 lbs).

Host Alison Sweeney is back and so are trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels. The first winner of the couples edition will be granted a $250,000 grand prize.
